Production Progress, International Devices Fix, and Firmware Info...

We've got a couple of updates on the BLEShark Nano. Let's get right into it!

1. 🛠️ Production Progress

Everything is moving according to plan. Right now, we’re assembling roughly 50 to 100 BLEShark Nano units per day. These units are fully tested and have their batteries and antennas installed. The enclosures are still in production, and we expect them to arrive by the start of next month. As soon as they do, the final assembly will be lightning fast - just screw on the case and ship it out.

We’ve already got packaging and devices lined up, so once the enclosures arrive, final assembly and shipping will begin right away. Over 800 BLEShark Nanos for U.S. and Canadian Kickstarter backers are already assembled, tested, and boxed - just waiting for their enclosures.

Hundreds of BLEShark Nanos lined up and ready - around 88 units per carton, just waiting for enclosures to arrive.

2. 🌍 EU & RoW Assembled Boards Issue Solved

While reviewing confirmation photos for our EU and RoW assembled PCBs, we noticed the IR LED polarity was reversed. Thankfully, we caught it early, and the manufacturer is fixing it now. We expect these updated boards to arrive in 4-7 days. By that time, we’ll likely have wrapped up U.S./Canada production and will be fully focused on international fulfillment as we wait for the enclosures.

3. 📘 User Manuals

Our device manual manufacturer is about to complete the production of all manuals. They should be finished within the next few days and will be shipped shortly.

4. ⚡ Firmware Updates (v0.9)

We’ve been quietly working on firmware improvements behind the scenes, and we’re happy to confirm that version 0.9 is nearly ready.

The biggest upgrade is our all-new OTA system, now fully hosted on our own infrastructure. As mentioned in our previous update, we’ve migrated BLEShark Nano’s OTA system from GitHub to our own secure infrastructure. This gives us full control, faster boot times, and per-device HMAC authentication.

Since then, we’ve continued refining the system - and it’s now nearly ready to roll out with firmware v0.9. Most notably, you can now opt-in to beta firmware builds directly from your device, giving you early access to experimental features before they hit the main release.

We’ve also introduced a new "info" app that displays device details like:

  • Battery level (percentage and voltage)
  • Serial number
  • Certification information for compliance

Another major upgrade is to the custom captive portal, which now supports JSON communication. You can send structured data to the Nano - and even save it locally.

Along with this, we've added:

  • A lightweight but essential battery monitor
  • A proper File Manager with txtViewer support
  • A few fun screensavers like Matrix rain and a 3D spinning cube

Finally, we've made a big structural improvement under the hood. Previously, config values were saved across dozens of individual .txt files. Now, they’re all consolidated into a single, lightweight settings.json. This is faster, more scalable, and helps us preserve space as more features are added.

Looking ahead, we’re already working on the next major firmware version (v1.0), which includes one of our most exciting features yet: custom app support. With an SDK, on-device app launcher, and a browser-based hub at apps.infishark.com, the community will be able to create and run their own apps on the Nano. This is currently planned for release after shipping, and we’ll share more when the time is right!

There’s still plenty more we’re working on, but we’ll keep a few surprises for future updates 😉

Thank you again for your support. We’re in the final stretch now, and it won’t be long before your BLEShark Nano is in your hands. Feel free to join our Discord server to chat with us and our community! We can't wait to ship.

The ble shark nano isn’t just another thing that people will drop ship and it definitely won’t get blown over in a year by “flipper killers”. I believe that the ble shark nano has more potential then the flipper zero, don’t get me wrong its still an amazing product. I feel like the ble shark nano is kinda like the flipper’s “honorable grandson” and people think I’m referencing Naruto that’s cause I am, all jokes aside I think this topples the flipper zero in many ways, for example

Pro`s:

Flipper zero: X

WiFi Capabilities:

Flipper zero: X (without add-ons)

Con`s:

In a conclusion I personally think that the ble shark nano is the best multi hacking and pen testing device as of 2025. I would definitely suggest and consider buying the ble shark nano. Can’t wait for my ble shark nano to arrive!

I can’t wait either, personally I thing the units are too cheap ! yes, comparing to Hack 5 devices, Deauther’s , HackRF Mayhem 4 and few others it too cheap. Double the price for further developments and improvements, Great work team,
