Major Progress Update: Certifications and Manufacturing

We’ve got some important updates to share with you about the BLEShark Nano! Let's jump in!

1. 🎯 Certifications

Big news - certification testing for the BLEShark Nano is officially complete!
We’ve successfully passed all required tests, including CE, UKCA, FCC, RCM, ISED, RoHS, and the WEEE recyclability assessment.

We’re now finishing up the final paperwork and database registrations for FCC and ISED, but all the testing itself is fully done.

2. 🏭 Manufacturing Underway!

Manufacturing for U.S. and Canadian orders has officially begun!
Now that certification testing is complete, we’re on track to start shipping Kickstarter orders between late May and June 2025. For website pre-orders, shipping is still scheduled for Fall 2025, as originally planned.

As for EU, UK, and international orders, we’re currently finalizing the sourcing of RoHS-compliant displays. Production for these regions is expected to begin in about a month. Once underway, Kickstarter shipments for EU, UK, and international backers are estimated to start around late June 2025. Website pre-orders for these regions will follow the same Fall 2025 timeline.

3. 🔥 Cases Update

Transparent Enclosures:
Our manufacturer fixed the yellow tint problem by swapping materials, and it looks clearer than before. Check out the before and after below:

Black, White, Blue & Purple Enclosures:
We're still awaiting updated samples (without the hairline cracks). Good news though: the improvements seen in the transparent versions should apply across all colors. We’ll confirm soon!

4. 🧸 Silicone Cases

Our manufacturer has officially completed the second batch of samples, and we’ve just received them! The case is now significantly more durable and fits even better than before - looking great!
